We are very excited to release our first lot from DBarbosa, coffee that is special to us and a favourite with our customers. Sourced directly from the DBarbosa family in Brazil, this lot has been roasted for filter to highlight its sweetness and clarity.
Our Journey with DBarbosa
This release is one of many with our ongoing partnership with DBarbosa. We first travelled to Brazil to visit the Barbosa family farms back in 2019, seeing their dedication to quality and the their hospitality.
In 2025, we returned to Brazil to deepen those ties and we are now the official UK importer for this coffee. This direct trade relationship ensures that we can keep bringing you their coffees year after year, while supporting the farm directly.
About the Farm
Located in the Cerrado Mineiro region of Minas Gerais, Danilo and his family have been cultivating coffee across generations, combining traditional farming knowledge with new experimental techniques.
The region creates the perfect environment for growing sweet, and complex coffees. Their commitment to sustainable farming and processing shows in every harvest, earning them a well deserved reputation as some of the best producers in Brazil.
Since dedicating themselves entirely to specialty coffee, Danilo Barbosa and his family have participated coffee competitions. Their accolades include:
Two-Time Cup of Excellence Champions (2021 & 2024): They won 1st place in the most prestigious coffee competition in the world, proving their processing and harvesting techniques are unmatched.
Expocaccer Champions: They took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place simultaneously in 2021, and reclaiming 1st place in 2023 and 2024.
Cerrado Mineiro Finalists: Consistent top-ranking finalists in the premier regional quality competitions year after year.
The Anahi lot is a stunning example of what Brazilian specialty coffee can be when treated with care.
